The former Lowry AFB is located approximately six miles southeast of downtown Denver.  It includes approximately 1,866 acres and is located within the city limits of Denver and Aurora, Colorado.  Lowry is currently a mixed-use community including residences, educational facilities, commercial development, and recreational areas.

The 72 acre property known as DFAS or the Buckley Annex, located west of Quebec Street between Bayaud Avenue and First Avenue is currently owned by the Air Force.  Environmental issues at this site are the responsibility of the Air Force and are not discussed on this website.
